In 1998, with great support from his wife LaDonna, other family members, and supporters, Jackie Midkiff jumped full force into pastoring High Praises Church. The very foundation of the church is to keep the main thing the main thing and that is the love of Jesus Christ. The vision has never changed, wavered or lessened–the lost need to be reached with truth and love. From the beginning, Pastor Midkiff has worked tirelessly with great passion and drive to reach the world for Jesus Christ.

With so many people lost, hurting, and searching for something real, Pastor Midkiff knows that by presenting Christ in His fullness and power that there is hope even for the most hopeless if they will give their life over to God. Pastor Jackie believes that it does not matter what you look like, act like, or smell like, Jesus never turned His back on anyone and neither will he. Jesus met the world with a bold, loving, compassion that they were unable to find anywhere else. Pastor Midkiff spends a great deal of time in prayer, fasting, and seeking God so that he can become more like Christ daily and offer real hope to a real world in need.
